Virginia Bulkeley scrapbooks, 1942-1945.

Three scrapbooks filled with newspaper clippings from the Hartford Courant and the Hartford Times. Kept by Virginia Bulkeley of Hartford, most of the clippings are in regard to purchasing war bonds during World War II. Bulkeley was chair of the Women's Division of the War Savings Staff. On the exterior the three volumes are identical, with images of war equipment embossed in the covers. The cover of one of the volumes is covered with an advertisement for purchasing bonds. Includes some photographs. The folder contains carbon copies of the WOWS reports.
